Best First Cars for Young Drivers in Kenya

What makes a good first car?

For young drivers in Kenya, the ideal first car is: - **Affordable to buy** — under KES 800,000 is realistic for most first-time buyers. - **Cheap to run** — fuel, insurance, and maintenance should be manageable on a starter salary. - **Easy to drive** — automatic transmission is easier for new drivers. - **Reliable** — breakdowns are stressful and expensive when you're starting out. - **Easy to resell** — when you're ready to upgrade, you want a car that sells quickly.
